Don't come in here with your college words! and yes THIS forum is for 3rd gens, quit whining about an extra section just for our gen of cars.

You would be lynched if you brought that car to a So Cal TPI meet for not being 50 state legal

Lets get this subsection going.

if i was in that state it would be an efi gen 3/4 setup and not chocked by the bottle neck that is a TPI induction and ancient computer system

I'm still hoping for the 67-69 forum, or the 70-81 forum too!

TL;DR the whole thread.

There's a swap section for help and these specific forums for the models to talk.

If you wanna BS with one another, just go to the lounge.

No need for a thirdgen subsection.

I had to get over 100 "votes" for them to even consider a carb section.....I pushed for it for YEARS, even back with pro stock john owned the forum, he didn't see a "need" for it. So I bet this will fall on deaf ears

I'm all for a 3rd gen section! Heres my car. Been restoring it for about 3 years now. Its been completely gone through and has been set up more for the twisties rather than speed. The goal was to have it look completely stock on the outside, but to be packin some heat under the hood. All thats left in the restoration is the drivetrain. I'm still trying to make my mind up between a cammed ls swap or just slapping a t56 behind the L98 and having it be just a cruiser/corner carver.

edit: The pic was taken before the suspension/chasis were set up

i don't miss anything about my L98, its fun racing past 4500rpms and having the engine pull to the rev limiter.
