2002 LS1 Camaro cranks, no start
I have a 2002 LS1 camaro z28 m6 with 10k miles that won't start. I noticed the past couple of days it cranks more than usual, but would start. Today, it would not start, just crank. I hear the fuel pump when I turn the key on. I tried unplugging the MAF, no go. I left the key on and purged a bit of fuel from the shraeder valve, then it would start. Is it possible to have too much fuel pressure and purging helps? Once it starts it seems to run fine.

I am having the same issue with my 2000 trans am. Sometimes it starts right up but other times it will just turn over and wont start. I dont think its a fuel pump problem. I noticed that if the check engine light stays on it when the ignition is on it will not start, but if the light goes off it will start everytime. any suggestions?
