Need help identifying part 99 SS Camaro

Can someone tell me what the silver ring in the middle is? A hose broke off it. The car runs good without it, but I'm sure it needs replacing.

Guess I'll go up to Champion Chevrolet and ask. Nobody seems to know.

That silver ring attaches to your PCV valve, I dont think its really necessary...
You do however need to attach that hose back to the PCV valve, otherwise you are going to have a vacuum leak.

Ok well..turned out it was the PCV valve......Yes, Champion Chevrolet sold me this contraption for (120.00)
