Thanks, man I wish I could take that offer but I'm completely broke right now. I have to get my rack and pinion and power steering pump replaced, then I'll be able to start modifying. How much? Just out of curiosity, lol.

Got my power steering pump, power steering pressure hose, rack and pinion and tie rod ends today. Gonna get them installed by my brother tomorrow.

Next is either a baseline dyno, sway bars or a strut tower brace.

So like JDEP162 suggested, I went ahead and removed the pinstripe and had a shop (SS Motorsports in Simi Valley, CA. I highly recommend them, they do good work.) remove the excess residue. I gave it an attempt with the hairdryer but it wasn't working for me. While I was at the shop I decided to go ahead and retint my front windows at 50%. I have to agree, it does look a lot better without the pinstripe.

Update on the powersteering issue. Apparently the power steering pump is defective and I will be getting another one installed by my brother tomorrow. Hopefully this one is good.

I'm going to skip on the dyno, strut bar and sway bars because I'm going to be needing tires soon. So I'm going to be getting some zr1's. I'm still undecided if I want 17x9.5 all around or 17x9.5 in the front and 17x11 in the rear. I kinda don't want to have to do the bfh mod, but with my plans, I know that I'm gonna be needing some wider tires. What do you guys suggest?? I was thinking I can settle with the 17x9.5 all around for now and then once I get my H/C setup or turbo, upgrade to the wider tires. (Since it won't be until longer down the road that I get any of those.)

I've decided to go with the Thunder Racing Cheater LS1 Head and Cam Package.

Yup. I won't sell it because the sentimental value is more than actual value lol

Well he's a really good mechanic and I trust the work he does. Everytime I take my car to the shop he works at, I give him a hand whenever he needs one and I'm learning little by little, but I'm by no means an expert, lol. So far I've helped him change my window motor and we removed the intake to change the oil pressure switch, cuz it was leaking quite a bit of oil from there. This time when he changed the rack... and power steering pump I didn't go down to the shop with him. He simply just drove it there, fixed it, then came back. I really do like this kind of work though, especially when you're doing it on your own car.

Haha, I know right. This is my first f-body and only my second car, and I know that I will never ever ever sell it.

I've got a set of chrome ZR1's x 9.5 with 275/40/17's on them that I need to sell. I'm just afraid shipping would kill us.

I've also got a Hotchkis front sway bar ad Strano rear bar that I'm selling.

The tires on the wheels are Nitto NT 01s with only one track day on them. More of a track tire but still a DOT tire.

About the rear end. I had a 396 LT1 making 380 rwhp and tq. I didn't like the 4.10's that I had. I ended up using 4th and 5th only, except for a really slow corner, like less than 40 MPH, then I'd use 3rd. 5th is an overdrive. It would feel like the car fell on it's face with 5th gear.

So, that being said, I think the stock gearing would be perfect. That would allow you to use 3rd and 4th.

I had Koni adjustable shocks, Strano springs, Hotchkis front bar, and a Strano rear bar. The handling was perfectly balanced.

I've got C5 front brakes. I love them. You will need to duct air to the rotors though. It's a heavy car, and the front brakes do all the work. Let me know if you want those sway bars. I'll give you a good deal on them.

Yeah shipping would be crazy expensive. Once I get $600 saved up I'll PM you and I'll also PM you about the sway bars. I also have to save up money for my tuition. I was looking to getting the strano sways both front and rear, but hotchkis is just as good, if not better.
