Question Upgrade time need suggestions!

So I have a. 2000 z28 I have long tubes headers , lid and manual cut out 3" pipes . I want to get cam and heads and noz , any suggestions on cam and heads ? Or what do you think?

It all depends on your budget and what goals you have for horsepower.

with three grand you could pull of a nice set of heads, it would be a stretch with a cam as well. Might have to double that much like all budgets

You might want to get a package from TSP that includes: a heads and cam combo. A ported LS6 intake would be my next step also.

Giggle juice and you can find a decent deal on a used rear and be within budget. A head and cam swap will get costly. You can easily spend another 250-300 in gaskets and hardware plus a tune(which you'd need for n2o as well) you would be pushing your $3k budget doing the work yourself. If you intend on paying for labor your budget has just been blown away.

go bigger on the cam, if you are putting a nice set of ported heads you can get away with more

If you are paying to have everything installed (after parts, tune, etc...) it's going to be hard to do the nitrous, heads, and cam for 3K
