Replaced the knock sensors, wiring, and intake manifold gaskets. Then performed the EGR mod (0.1 extra HP). HA! I'll take any HP. No more engine light ... oh yea. Feels good not to see that yellow light.

Installed an old MTI Lid and air box base I got off ebay. Hosed dead grass out of the radiator while I had access. No clue how all that got there. Notice better low end power and the exhaust sounded better but never got to really wind it out on way home.
Also replaced a flooded front drivers side turn signal housing. Can't believe I never noticed how much water was in that thing when I replaced the bulb a few months back. Even the broken bulb was flooded.
All in all a good weekend. Going to start looking at other easy mods this week. With all the regular maintenance and normal wear part replacement I'm happy the car is running much much better than when I bought it. Still get excited when I take her out.

Picked my 99 z28 M6 up during military leave, got off the plane went straight to autozone and picked myself up a optima red top. Then went home to see the family. Spent the first two days getting her running properly again then detailed the hell out of her then beat the hell out of her. Dropped it off to have a pully kit installed, ported throttle body, custom dyno tune. Continued to baby her for the next month. Then decided I couldnt go another year with out her and dropped her off down in Baltimore Maryland to come out and spend the next year with me over seas. Have to have priorities.
