Jim how hard were the pins and where did you get them from? Mine has the dreaded wobble when you pull on the wheel.

I have a set of Granatelli wires coming in today to replace my 6 year old msd's I'll update with pics and install with my headers tonight.

Got my granatelli's in the mail and installed. Overall they are a really quality wire. Very stiff boot and heat shielding. I got the angled boots in order to clear my headers and a couple wires still came close but the boot DO have a little bendability in them so I just bent them out of the way and they clear everything great. As far as I know the straight boots will not bend and keep a shape but the angled ones did for me.

Idle is smoother and the throttle response is more crisp. However idk if thats because the msd's are not as good or they were 6 years old with 50k on them. Even so I'd still take the granatellis they are almost twicce the weight of the msd and the quality is much better. I paid a lot less than the 200 list price as well by calling them direct.

Heard her idle yesterday.

Untuned, just flashed PCM for the security key to start and bumped idle to 1000 so it wouldnt stall when burping coolant. Everythings done on it minus basic tuning, which will be in next few days, and it'll be on road!

Wife and I gave it a wash and wax with expensive suds this time. I'm sold on using quality suds from now on. Streak free and I questioned whether it even needed to be waxed.

Nice choice, I dislike the stock voltage regulator very much. Caused me many headaches. Hope you caught it before anything serious happened to the onboard electronics. My positive battery cable is on it's last legs. Going to be my next project after I swap the water pump next week.

nothing was wrong with my stock alternator..(besides the pulsing of the interior lighting and headlights) just wanted to do some preventive maintenance and better upgrade all at once

win/win in my book.

^^Haha, I'd say the pulsating lights are enough of a reason, that's why I did mine. Probably going to knock out a new battery too just to be safe.

Also, this weekend I removed the spring from my clutch pedal (didn't do this when we installed the tick MC) and swapped out a few burnt out bulbs, had 3 go out within a few days of eachother. I hope that isn't indicative of a bigger electrical issue.

later this week I am going to have the A/C recovered at my Brothers job (honda tech) and then proceed to remove all of the A/C stuff (used it a total of 3 times in 2 years since I have had the car)

Drove her to Walmart. Took back roads home. Went through a tunnel under railroad and hammered it, sounded like an angry bear screaming

How did the oversize tilt pins work out? I was thinking about ordering some for my column.

That is good to hear!! I contemplated on the Granatelli wires, but ended up going with MSD's because of a special that Scoggin Dickey had (Free NGK Plugs for $75). Because of that deal, I just couldn't pull the trigger with the price tag.... I'm curious to know how you like them, once you're able to get some miles on them.

I just ordered Kooks LT's and Cat'd Y-Pipe for mine today. Finally moving up in the world with a few performance bolt-ons.....

I can't wait for them to come in!!

They worked out great, and $40 for the pair is a steal. It's hard to say how close it is to brand new since I have nothing to compare it with, but it is MUCH better.

Taylor plug wires to clear my headers with Cooltech heat sleeves. Tomorrow I'll make the fuel line from the body hard line the my fuel rails. Saturday install new 1350 yoke on axle that came in today and measure for new drive shaft. Sunday I'll look at mounting Dominator ECU and fly by wire pedal.

Suggested to the wife that nitrous would be cheaper than heads, cam and headers...

I peeled one windows worth of window tint off and tried to do an oil change. Bought the right one accord to o'reilly and walmart's manuals...come to find out, I have a replacement a 12558899 oil pan with an M22 fitting, I believe. Was about ready to shove the car off of its jack stands in frustration, giving up as its 215a and I don't feel like making another trip out to find the right one. I believe I need a PF48 as the PF46 is too small. *sigh* should have just waited to do it in the morning instead of midnight.
