Removed the brand new power steering pump that blew up in under 5 minutes and got a new one to put on tomorrow after I flush the metal out of everything.
Thanks! Can't wait to see what your ride is going to look like with the new hood and spoiler. The wheels are awesome.
Let me know if you ever head north to Maryland or Pennsylvania in the future, because I'd love to check out your car. That's a bit of a drive for you, but we have some great shows up in my neck of the woods during the summer.

LT1 tail lights are on, so it's legal to drive now. I'm just not sure if I have a speedometer yet, so a few more details to work out before I take it off the jack stands.
Well ordered my QP 9", received my 104mm fast toys lid, sjm line lock, 3.80 gears, LNC-2000, center console switch....and scheduled my appointment to get it tuned so I can finally drive it after the heads and cam.
Still very slowly working on my suspension. Parts are disassembled and I am in the process of getting as much rust off as I can. I can only put one part in the vinegar bucket at a time. And of course a large rain system is moving in and it will rain most of this week. So I rushed and put some primer on the upper and lower arms on the passenger side and the upper arms on the driver side. Primer is on to prevent new rust. A coat of Rustoleum black paint will go over the parts as well.

Looks kind of cool with the primer on it. I need to do this to my car once I decide to lower it.
Cleaned her up some (Cali-duster only) and hit the gas station, then on to a car show....left early as I could care less about an award an do it for fun.
Wife, Daughter, and Daughters boy friend came up for a while... drove home letting the DBF get a feel of LSx power winding up 1st from a light. He's hooked LOL.
I have to add.....belt was fine but didn't hit the limiter
Finally finished buttoning up my spring break projects haha. Koni str.t's, bmr lowering springs, urethane front and rear swaybar endlinks and bushings, drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads, Russell stainless brake lines, painted the calipers with the g2 kit, founders performance strut tower bar/on car adjustable lower control arms and relocation brackets/on car adjustable panhard bar, ls6 valley cover swap and did the coolant crossover while there, deleted and blocked off egr/air, fast 92/92. I think that's all of it... Lol.
