Pulled K-member out of roller to get ready for the motor & trans. Small victories almost every day. I can start to smell burnt rubber

Looks good! What's your front emblem? I can't zoom in enough to make it out. I'm thinking about putting the one from my wrecked car on my roller. It's super scratched up and I think it will add character and a little "hint" of what was, what I walked away from.

Thanks! I have some BLS headlights I need to install, I think they will compliment the grille.

And it it from EmblemPros, it was on the car when I got it.

Gonna go with the no-hub-cap-look for the wheels, so I painted my hubs to match the wheels

ground out the bolt head on the driver side spring perch. Had to cut the spring to get the grinder in the recess where the bolt is housed. 37 year old j-hooks are crap. Now debating dropping the fuel tank and the can of worms that opens or attempting to leave the tank in place and pretend i'm working under the cowl of a 4th gen again. Who needs all the skin on their knuckles anyway?

Cool man! Was that easier than going under the car with the headers?

I did all the work with the motor and trans already out of the car. If you look back a couple weeks you'll see where I pulled the drivetrain out of my wrecked '01.
I can tell you this though... Going through bottom is WAY easier than the top. I do 90% of car work by myself. I pulled everything out of the wrecked car, swapped K-members, etc. As long as you have a cherry picker you can do almost anything by yourself, albeit a little more time consuming.

You don't need turn signals going straight real fast
