In the middle of an LS6 valley cover swap. Got the engine piece trimmed to make room for the LS6 valley cover. I will wrap it up during the week as I am waiting on my plug wires to come in as well.

Removed the rear suspension, sand blasted then powdercoated it. Will re install tomarrow with the umi swaybar, and koni shocks.

I included a pic of the new front suspension and brakes.

Been trying to pinpoint the cause of the P0300 code I am getting. Was seeing that prior to the LS6 valley cover swap.

I swapped in new NGK plugs and swapped out the wires for the LS6 wires for a nice tune up. P0300 was still present.

Swapped out the passenger side O2 and the hesitation/backfire was still present. Swapped out the driver side O2 and cleaned the IAC valve. P0300 is gone. No hesitation present. I will drive it to see if it acts up.

Did the Ranger Clutch Fluid Change/Clean
http://www.rangeracceleration.com/Clutch_Care.html

Used one bottle of fluid to get it clear..

Then attempted to clean the power-steering fluid, but only got it to go from black to brown with 1 quart... I assume I'll need 2 more quarts to get it clear.

The harness isn't or wasn't pinched. The car only has 14K miles. I need to rescan it with HP Tuners to see if the issues are completely gone.

Just finished washing, buffing, waxing my 68 and I have a real love/hate realationshop with the black paint. When it's clean I wouldn't have it any other color, the other 95% of the time I just wish it wasn't black.

I'm not a fan of painting a car black either, but, that is the sweetest '68 I've ever seen brother! Great job...

Not V8 but oh well...

Heard some clicking from my cammed 99 3.8L late last fall but it ran OK, oil PSI good. Parked it for the winter, dug into it this spring. Long story short, found a busted valve spring on #1. Thankfully just the last coil so it didn't drop a valve or anything, shoot it ran normally at least up through midrange RPM (never tried revving hard after the clicking started). Apparently a common problem with this series of Comp Cams springs. Got new ones, slowly replaced them all as I had time. Passenger side was the worst, but I wrapped it up today finally.

I spy...
