Default T-Top sun shades

I just bought OEM t-top sun shade / interior panels for my 2000 Z-28
I'm not sure how to install them. Do you remove the tops lay the panels on top of the frame and then reinstall the t-tops ?

No, they are held on by little velcro circles..

If they didnt come with any then a trip to the local hardware store is needed.

I guess I need to trim these panels down some because they are too large to go up from the bottom on the inside.

If you still have your owners manual it shows how to install them. One end tucks behind the plastic trim and the other end velcros to the glass. Easiest way would be with the t-top off, attach the shade and put the t-top back on. DON'T trim the shade!!

I installed ttop shades for the first time ever in only 60 seconds yesterday. Shouldn't be that hard to figure out. Lift up top, look at shape of shade, slide edge in and then lower and lock top. Done

You don't even need the Velcro; just slid the shade into the latch side of the top, install top, lock, do a burnout.

If they are OEM shades then they never need to be trimmed down. As stated above, the t-top must be lifted up in order to install these properly.
