Default 2003 lq4 into 2002 camaro

Need some help guys.

I'm trying to put a 2003 lq4 (out of a gmc sierra 1500) into my 2002 camaro and have a couple questions. Right now I'm at a standstill on the build because I'm not sure what kind of intake I can use. The lq4 heads are cathedral port and all the ls intakes I can find are rectangle port and the intake that came with the motor (truck intake) is too large to fit under the hood. I need to keep it emissions legal (or close enough to fake it thru an ispection) too.

Also need to figure out what kind of transmission I should use. Pretty sure I need a 4L65E but if not please let me know.

thanks in advance!

Most ls intakes are cathedrals actually lol. An ls6 would probably be the best budget option for you or the dorman ls6 replacement which is almost as good. If you want to spend big money and get the best look into a fast 102 or MSD
