My 1968 Camaro RS-LS3 Hot cam, 4L70E Trans, Moser 12 bolt
1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS, LS3 6.2L, PB, PS, 4L70E Auto w/ OD. Every mechanical part on the car is brand new and replaced.
I have a complete build sheet, with all the part #'s, receipts, etc, totaling 75K.
This is a modern day Camaro mechanically, in a 50 year old Classic Muscle car body, the best of both worlds. Turns heads everywhere you go! Having the reliability of a brand new big horsepower modern drive train, with good gas mileage is incredible. Turn the key and drive out of state if you want, worry free.
700 break in miles only, this project just got finished. Black on Black with 18" wheels on the front and 20" wheels on the rear.
LS3 Engine, Hot Cam, Fuel injected, 500+hp, all aluminum engine, all brand new!
All new LS3 front accessory components, Power steering pump, Alternator, Water pump, Starter, pulleys etc
4L70E 4 speed automatic transmission with OD, beefed up GM performance, with a 3200 stall torque converter. Trans cooler with braided lines and AN fittings. All brand new.
Custom built Moser 12 bolt rear end, with a TrueTrac differential, 3.73 gears. 33 spline BOLT IN axles, Aluminum girdle cover, main cap bearing support studs, big bearing end caps, fully welded housing and thick walled tubing, 1050 series Chromoly Pinion joint, powder coated black.
Brand new front and rear suspension, body bushings etc. Global West tubular del-a-lum control arms, upper and lower, QA1 Double adjustable coil over suspension. Hotchkis Racing steering components, aluminum fast ratio power steering gear box. SS braided lines with AN fittings for the ps pump and gear box. Global West subframe connectors.
Willwood Disk Brakes, 6 Piston, drilled and slotted, front and rear, Willwood Power Brake Master Cylinder and booster, all new brake lines. All new bearings and spindles/arms etc.
1-7/8" Stainless steel LS Hooker headers, and 3" stainless steel (304) Exhaust with X-pipe.
All new BE COOL cooling system for LS Swap, good for 1000hp, dual electric spal fans etc.
All new fuel system, fuel injection tank, fuel injection pump, injectors, SS braided lines with AN fittings, etc.
Custom Aluminum Drive Shaft, by The Driveshaft Shop, 1050 series U-Joints, chromoly yokes. Balanced to 9000 rpm's.
Re-wired the entire car, all brand new American Autowire update wiring harnesses, All new GM Performance computers/controllers for the engine/trans, and all new harnesses. Battery relocated to the trunk.
Autometer C2 Guages in custom dash panel, blue LED lights, Speedo and Tach, plus 4 matching Autometer C2 gauges in the factory console: water temp, oil pressure, fuel, trans temp. Horseshoe shifter in the original console.
Brand new RS hideaway headlights & grill, complete system, with modern electric motor system, no more vacuum or outdated electrical system running the hideaway headlights!
Brand new I-DID-IT tilt steering column, and custom steering wheel.
Front seats reupholstered in real leather.
Dynomat Extreme and Dynaliner put down on the front and rear floors.
