Default Som Camaro SS build

Always wanted one and set a goal in mind to build a great all around street cruiser that could do everything well.
Drove to NC to pick the car up after months of searching for a Formula Hawk or Cme Som SS.

I knew from the beginning what I had planned. I've owned 4 th gens over the year's. Forged wheel's, maybe win a show, out run a 6th gen ZL1.

The car had 19k in it when purchased. So the search for some forged wheel's came to an end after finding a set of Fikse Fm5s that needed restoring.

After around 100 hours we got them cleaned enough to put on the car.

So then it was time to lower the car.

So now I was looking to start detailing the engine bay while waiting for to install the Heads and Cam.

So now we move on to adding power. After having a bunch of different combos in multiple Ls vehicles I choose to go with Tsp Prc Cnc 227s heads with Hollow valves, milled to 59 cc's, 230/240s Cam, 1 7/8's Headers, Ported Fast 92mm.

Found a mini

Custom tag

Head and Cam install

Made the Fbody meet in Orlando!

I had a 408 that had been sitting for lots of year's and well the Head and Cam just wasn't enough. Some I started ordering some more part's.

PRC 247s Hollow intake valves
Installed the heads and Custom 240s/250's cam

408 installed
Now drive the car to Daytona and dyno tune it.

Little burnouts for family day.

And the test.

No video's well because I can't drive and video! But a solid 2-3 cars on 2 different Zl1s and I still have some bugs to work out.

Beautiful car and build! I follow you on Instagram. Def. one of my favorite SOM cars out there.

Glad you were able to run some ZL1s after the motor swap. 👍

Thank you. The next round of mods I'll be figuring out the suspension, and I bought a hydrographic station about 6ft by 4ft and will be dipping some plastics and interior.
