Default Light problem

Hi I have a 2002 Camaro V6 and I was fixing the map light for the R.N.D.D1.D2 area and the negative and positive wire touched and the map lights for the doors the light for the A/C unit and the driver direction area went out I checked the fuses and they weren't blown I have no idea what it could be

Do you have tail lights? The power supply for these lights run through the instrument panel dimmer switch and then to fuse #16. I believe the fuses for these lights should be #5 and #16 in the IP fuse block. Might not hurt to check the fuses with a continuity tester to verify the fuse is good.

Wouldn't make much sense if he located the fuse and didn't replace it.
