This seems silly, but I am struggling to find a wiper blade that works well on the 'up-side-down J-hook' style arms that the 93-97 F-bodies have.

On the wife's 96 Bird I converted to the 98+ style years ago and it's been great, but it feels wrong to do the same to my 97 SS.

What blades are you guys running?

only blades I have seen are Trico's.. nothing fancy or anything..


you can always swap to the newer arms and save your old ones if you ever sell the car

Yeah, that's all I could find too, so I ordered a new set. Should have them in a few days and hopefully they'll work alright. I don't drive the car in the rain often (if any), but sometimes I need to use the washer to clean dust/bugs and it's pretty annoying when the blades barely do anything.

I know Napa carries some in stock. They are cheap though. I got sick of it and converted to 98+ myself.

Yep. Trico 24-9r is what you need. They're the only one I've found that will fit my 95.
