Got the car on jack stands, removed and sold the Koni Yellow shocks/struts. Will be replacing them with some type of adjustable coil overs up front.

While the car is down, I'm deleting the ABS block and hiding the fuse boxes. Still trying to decide if I want to run a light battery or not.

 

I have the anti gravity battery. Works flawlessly cranking my 12.5 to 1 427 and weighed 5lbs

 

That is definitely super light compared to my 31 lbs red top. My only concern would be my electric water pump, my compression is only 11.1-1.

 

I had problems with my electric water pump leaking so I sent it back to Amazon.
battery never had an issue with the pump

Yeah, I'm waiting on one more brake fitting to be delivered so I can button up the brake lines and bleed.

Very interesting, I picked up this low mileage LS3 from a member on here for $65 shipped lol.

 

i had a starter like that. I have problems keeping bolts in it in the adjustable mounting block. If the bolts weren’t backing out, they were breaking. I tried red loctite too. Didnt matter. I prefer factory.

 

I just needed to order a pigtail for the connector on the LS3 starter.

 

good to know. Seems the ls3 style is the better option

 

Finally edited and uploaded the vids from the race against the 416 Vette.

Lowered the Computer to make it less noticeable.

Removed the hood and put it up forsale.

 

What kind of hood is you going to put on the car ?

 

Planning on a VFN Sunoco wide 4.5", haven't decided on a bolt on vs pin on yet.
