Just got back from FL.
Went to a lot of trouble to get this one, but the good ones are worth it.

I flew to Florida to get my 2001 SLP SS. Worth every penny. What are you going to do with your Camaro? I have made trips to get several of my cars. I flew to Green Bay to get my 1970 Camaro. I bought my 1976 Laguna S3 in Charlotte North Carolina and I bought my 1986 C10 in Florida. Adventures all.

I plan to keep it old school. I've got a complete LS3 motor but I think for this car I'm going to build a bad *** small block. I think it will be less expensive in the long run.
Theres a few body issues I need to take care of. Its going to need a trans upgrade. The steering and suspension is pretty tight. So probably just some maintenance stuff there.
No wipers, speedo inop, no a/c or fan operation. Half the instrument panel is dead. Needs door handles fixed. yada yada.
Moser makes an upgrade kit for the 10 bolt. It's a good street set up. And its not too pricey. Unless I can find a decent price on a 12 bolt.
Yeah I'm excited. Its going to be sweet

Default 400

I put a 400 sbc and 700r in my ‘86 C10. It has AFR heads and makes really good street power. That is a good way to go with your car. A 383 works well. If you have the 8.5 10 bolt keep it. My Laguna has all the Moser stuff with a Detroit True Trac. 12 bolt is not much better than that. 12 bolt is just fun to say. The old circuit plastic thing in the gauge panel on the older Camaro’s can be an issue. I will see if I have an extra one. Good luck.
