rpo codes

WU8 is the RPO code for a SS.
Y2Y means it has additional SLP options.
Not sure about 24C, a generic F-bod decoder ring shows this, which doesn't make sense:
24C TRIM COMBINATION, CLOTH, DK BLUE (C) (91)
Are you sure that this code isn't really Z4C (35th anniversary package)?

There was no such thing on a factory SS as 350hp or 380hp ratings. Some groups had alteration packages that had numbers like that, such as some of the cars that were modified by GMMG for Berger Chevrolet, or the Blackbird cars. These cars could also come equipped with more than that too, just depended on what was ordered.
In 2002, an SS could be ordered with three HP packages, 325 in a base SS form, 335 with SLP's dual-dual or centermount exhausts, and 345 with either of the aforementioned exhausts and the blackwing lid on the intake of the car. These options would be on the second sticker content noted by the RPO code "Y2Y" that you mentioned before (or on the SLP added window sticker if you are fortunate to have those still).

GM/SLP did not release any LS1 SS car with a 350 or 380hp rating at any time during production of any applicable model year (1998-2002).
The only other detail to be added is that it seems the "Y2Y" RPO started to be used on all SS cars in the later production years, even if there was no additional SLP content beyond the base package. Long ago, it was stated that this change was made to allow additional options to be added after the initial vehicle order was placed. I cannot 100% confirm the validity of that claim, but we have seen a couple members over the years with late model "Y2Y" cars that reportedly have zero additional content (not even so much as floor mats, key fob or dash plaque).

Everything quoted above is correct.

Look like Y2Y maybe was added to all 2002 SS's after the start of production, because a book I just got says there were 10,625 with Y2Y (pg 156) and that is less than total 2002 SS production. The book has that figure broken down by auto/manual in coupe or vert. the book is called All 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro Codes Colors & Quantities
Also has 1998 and 1999 Y2Y production broken down by coupe/vert and auto/manual, my Camaro White Book doesn't have 1998 and 1999 Y2Y.
