To me, N20 isn't cheating, but it also isn't part of the 'car'. What I mean by that is, if you have a high 12 second car N/A, then use N20 to run 11s, you don't have an 11 second car - you have a 12 second car with nitrous. That's the only thing that bugs me about N20 is somebody using it to gain a cheap easy second.
If you run 11s with a supercharger, you have an 11 second car, because the power is always there. No refills, no buttons to push.

It gets on my nerves when people say nitrous is cheating. That would essentially mean that anything you do to improve the preformance of your car is cheating, which includes the "all motor" neanderthals.....
Also, I look at it from a street perspective. A nitrous car is more driveable on the street. And I can use it only when I need it. Have you ever tried to drive a 600 hp big block chevy on the street? It ain't easy, just one ounce on the pedal and the tires go up in smoke!!
If I built a trailer queen, then I would probably build an all motor car. But for street, nitrous is great! (as long as your honest about it).

its only cheating if u claim to be N/A, and in my opinion nitrous is the same as super charging, so is he likes super chargers ask him y he thinks nitrous is cheating. i guess all 03 04 cobras are cheats.

Tell your buddy to grow a pair and line up with you. Its not cheating if you TOLD him it was on the car. Its only cheating when you deny its on the car.

Nitrous isn't cheating... the faster car is the faster car. But I think that if you have 500HP Motor and a 100HP shot of NOS, you have a 500HP car because thats what you run all the time, you can't possibly have NOS all the time so you have a 500HP car with 600HP when you push a button.

it's not cheating if he knows about it and knows you are useing it I thank if you run both ways he might not be so hesitant I don't know if a 100 shot will be enough to beat a cam and bolt ons SS

i think of it the same way i think of as a supercharger or turbo. You spent the money to get the power. and its just as if not more hazardous to your engine to use it without proper tuning. its just cheaper off the bat, yet more expensive in the long run. I dont see it as cheating. I see it as a cheap quiuck way to beat someone you cant beat N/A

i dont think a 100 shot would be enough for an otherwise stock car to beat a bolt on/cammed car... i ran a 00 ss w/ 100 shot, and he lost...and emptied his whole bottle doing it.

its funny to see how some are very much for nitrous and some very much against it. i just think its cool and i dont have 3k sittin around for a supercharger! plus purging is kick *** and shown people the bottle in the trunk is always cool. when people say this guys got a supercharger its just kinda like "ok, cool", but when someone points out a car that is sprayin it seems that their eyes get bigger and they are mistified by it. like its not natural and its crazy!

So true! Open that trunk with a bottle in it and people think your Madmax or something. To me its the same as Drag slicks. Its not really cheating but you don't have it 100% of the time. Unless your a Tool and cruise to and from Work with Drag slicks...LOL

The only people that thinks its cheating are the ones that dont have it, and lose to it. If i dynoed 600 hp with nitrous, then I have 600 hp. Just cause its not there all the time doesnt mean its not there. And im pretty sure if you have it and you going to run in a race your gonna use it, which means you have it, all 600 hp of it.

It seemed every Mudstain in a street race was spraying, and I used to be one of those "all throttle no bottle" guys and even said "bottles are for babies" on a few occasions. Well, I got back from 2.5 years in Europe and got my '94 Z28 out of storage and discovered I was now SLOW.
Within the year, an NX kit somehow made its way onto my car.

My ET Streets are "permanently" on the '94 and I run Nitto 555R's on the back of the '02. They're the only "street" tires I have for that car.
