Its a 10.5 car- ya i bought it that way- i couldnt build the car for 8500- so it sits in my race car trailer..

Ive ran the car just 2 times- foot braking it- leaving 2500rpms-
My second pass was the best- just running it easy-

Guy who had it before me ran consistant 6.40- 6.50 in the 1/8th- but was using the trans brake..

Its a 10.10-10.30 car when i get used to it.. Oh- cage maybe crazy- but its a 16point- cert for 7.50's-

Car has been 5.67 in the 1/8th - with a f1 procharger.. 20psi about a 8.50 pass... current setup is a v-trim vortech- 9psi -

 

bigblock4speed ur car is very nice sir,i would convert the front end to a newer style 88-92 style..just my opinion

can we get a video of how ur car sounds?

 

I like the fact it is still a factory/ looking 84z.. ya the newer bumpers are cool- i may, car needs painted kinda.

I dont have any video of the car.. 630lift roller cam.. if that matters.. Just a 350ci, all forged, brodex cnc alum heads, filled block.. alot of stuff..

Heres my 1985 IROC-Z. I redid the whole car, 350 TPI, 5-Speed Conversion, Polyuothane Susp, lowed 1 inch, 01 T/A Leather seats, etc. the list goes on...and its no garage queen either.

Its still a 3rd gen

 

My 3rd Gen is a 1991 RS, the typical LO3/A4, bought new one owner car. It's my favorite...the car has a lot of quirky personality...xwife hated the car from day one...super dependable (the RS, not the x) and still fun (again the RS, not the x) after 18 years and 307,000 miles...slow but that's going to change in the not too distant future...
