The air was bad and I didn't bring my timing light from home, so it WILL get better.
The motor is a iron headed, carburetor conversioned LT1 (Cadillac motor), TH350 with a 3800 TCI stall, 4.10 gear with a 29 x 9 MT slick in a 1986 coupe. Keeping it simple.
Just lost to a 91 vette in this baby, but only cuz i couldnt get any traction and the vette launched perfectly then wouldnt let me pass 
anyways it runs 8.90's in the 1/8. 60,000 miles on the L98. Umm bored .060 over, BBK throttle body, flowmaster catless exhaust, ported plenum, ram air, and probably more stuff thats just not coming to mind. Chameleon paint, am actually looking to sell this car.

Chameleon paint, am actually looking to sell this car. A L98 ybody would pull a L98 fbody. The Vette L98 has aluminum heads whereas the yours are cast. Not to mention the Vette is lighter and could have been a 6 speed. No wonder you lost.
my L98 is out of a 91 vette man, and i was right on his *** the entire race and had to let off the gas so i didnt hit him, i could have passed him but he wouldnt let me. And it was a basically stock vette with an auto, and he had new tires compared to my very old bald ones, therefore he got the jump on me and cut me off.
Yeah, that's what happens when people dart across 5 lanes of traffic without looking. At least they were ok, though the guy should have been more careful driving a minivan full of kids.
