Even though there wont be a new Camaro anytime soon here are some things to look at. Those of us who own a 4th gen wont have to get the newest one. And now we wont have to worry about the Camaro name being tarnished kind of like the new GTO. Although chevy does need an affordable rear drive ride soon with pontiac and ford having them. Lets just hope its something that looks new and different.

I agree on looking at other options my car although it looks new, is a 6 year old car. The only thing I would step up to in the near-future would be a used Z06 if I could find one cheap enough lol.

Appearance wise I disagree regarding the 4th gen. NOTHING, but nothing beats the looks of a '69 Camaro, and in it's day did fairly well performance wise.
The best of both worlds is to put a LS1/M6 into a '69 Camaro, install a Wayne Due sub-frame with Corvette Suspension, big brakes, etc...
Results, best Camaro.
By the way, this is exactly what I am doing.

I think it would be a good thing if they never made another camaro. Not because I don't want to see the legacy keep going or anything, but becasue look what happened last time the gas prices jumped and the supply got low...
There is gonna be a gas crunch sooner or later, probably not a BIG one, but gas prices are going to go up, and when they do, GM is gonna make everything they make a little more "Efficient", and I'd rather not have another "Iron Duke" phase to go through.
