you could get a Z28 with 3.23s

A4 B4Cs all have 3.23s though

he was saying that there is no such thing as an "SS" motor... there are just LS1s...no diffrences...

A B4C Camaro has nothing on it that would make the car any faster. The only difference is it has a heavy duty alternator, deleted Z28 emblems, 1LE lower control arms, standard 3.23s on A4 cars and standard Goodyear Eagle RSA tires. I have driven a stock 200 mile M6 2002 B4C and it was no faster than any stock ls1 car i've driven. I've also seen a bone stock 2002 A4 B4C run 13.50s@102 at my local track, not really nothing out of the ordinary. From my personal experience LS1 cars vary greatly on the RWHP numbers they put out.

B4Cs do not have "1LE" control arms, unless our 98 V6 also has them...

I've seen the 1LE lower control arm claim several times across the net. I know for certain that it's not part of the B4C package itself, but maybe it's covered by another code sometimes found on B4C's. The info I have on RPO codes is too vague to know.

109,000k HARD miles on it. And it was probably not just one guy driving it either. ALL the cops probably got a chance to beat on it really good and hard for a while...

I hope you are a either a VERY good mechanic or really lucky with cars because ALL cars will break down if beat on for a while.
