I'm still working on the floor pans , prepping them for paint. Once I get past eternal sanding hell , you'll see some pretty rapid progress.

I spend insane amounts of overtime ( I've worked 31 hours in the past 2 days) , at the Peterbilt Truck Assembly plant in Tennessee. My problem isn't being able to afford parts , it's finding time to do anything but work and sleep.

Hopefully as it starts to warm up a bit more you will be able to afford to not take as much overtime and do more work on your vehicle and spend more time with your lady friend.

New convertible top made it here today. Black Stayfast cloth with glass instead of the cheap plastic rear window and the Eibach Pro springs (1" drop) came , too.

I'm doing the floorpans in POR-15 and I did the rear axle in it. Expensive but good stuff , indeed.

well one thing i noticed was the rs springs are veriable rate springs rear that is and the front springs dont look like they have near the srping rate of the iroc springs so its a toss up really im running with iroc springs at all 4 and wish mine were stiffer for sure or I guess the shocks dont help much but hey just 2 cents

The floorpans are VERY close to being ready for paint. I ended up ditching the IROC springs and went with the Eibach Pro Kit instead.

The billet bug bit and it bit hard! Got a complete accessories drive kit from Street & Performance. This kit is billet but has been chromed so I don't have to polish it on regular basis. I also sprang for the polished A/C dryer to help round everything out. Alt , P/S pump with seperate reservoir, A/C compressor and all the hardware and brackets. This is the only kit I know of available for the LS1 currently. It ain't cheap , either.

Got the Aeroquip fittings and stainless steel braided A/C hoses too.

You're going to have a show quality car when this is done.
