overpriced for sure...my buddy just bought a 98 with 46K for 9500...so for 2500 dollars more you could get 1/4 the miles and not even have to worry about swapping motors

I bought a silver 98 Z28 6 speed with 75,000 miles on it for 7,365.00 and its in almost perfect condition. It is way to much for that car.

Suprisingly Kelley Blue Book said in excellent condition the retail value is $8265. IMO that price is too high with those miles. Maybe you can talk him down

Yeah, that price is way way too much for a car with 189k. At best I would agree on that car being worth about 5k. When you buy a car with that many miles, you never know what is going to go wrong next, and what will need replaced due to being worn out. You should be able to land a much nicer Z28 with under 100k miles for 7 grand without much problem. Might wanna wait around until spring though, when most people are selling there cars.

All it will take is one phone call. Call em up and say I really like the car but all I can pay is $5K. If they need a sale they will go for it. That's how I got my SS. At the time the blue book was 25K and I said can you get me out the door for 22K. He did.
