135 in a 65. i passed the cop in the fast lane at 5am going to work and i was late.......when he finally cuaght up to me and pulled me over his first words were DO YOU KNOW HOW FAST YOU WERE GOING, and i said well it depends on where you saw me and he told me that i passed him like he was standing still and he was doing 80 mph in th fast lane. he gave me this 10 min lecture and then wrote the ticket out for 78 in a 65. oh yeah i got two of them for the sam thing and they both dropped them down to 78 in a 65 and the tickets were two months apart.

man! i hope when i get caught, well i hope i dont get caught but it happens, if im going that much faster then the speed limit and a cop pulls me over i hope he is nice and knocks my ticket down, cause other wise they would be hauling me away, just in case if u were wondering iam ticketless at the moment and would like to keep it that way for awhile, i was pulled over once for doing only 12 over and got a warning i hope i can keep it going, i prolli just screwed my self by saying that though.lol

I havent got anything in my Z28 yet but, in my 99 Silverado, I got a warning for "Squealing Tires, Speeding in excess of 70MPH in a 45, and street racing" All in Jacksonville, NC down NC-24 against a buddy that just bought a 2000 Z71. The cop could have really got me but I think he was being cool about it. He said that he didnt shoot the radar so He couldnt write a ticket. I got lucky though. The fastest Ive done though was 130 in a 65 on Ohio SR35

I have a similar story. Me and my wife, stoned, with T-tops off, were doing 140ish on a completely empty highway. When we got off at the exit, a state trooper came up behind us and flashed his lights. We obviously passed him way back in the other galaxy. We pulled over, of course, and he asked me who I was racing. I said we're not racing, just enjoying the car. He was like " you just wanted to open her up, huh"? I told him yessir, I don't get to drive it very much. He went on to tell us horror stories of accidents involving T-top cars and how dangerous they are. He finally told me to slow down and be safe.

He said he had no idea how fast we were going, so he wasn't going to give me a ticket. I would have gone to jail for sure. I think he let me go because my wife was with me. I am still grateful.

I got a ticket for 95 in a 55. Cop was sitting on the otherside of a hill, and when I got to the top I new I was screwed. I sure am glad I slowed down before reaching the top of that hill.

got one for you, and a very dumb cop to boot..

friend of mine was at a red light in a 2001? kia spectra.. light goes green, some beige buick or olds whizzes past at 60+, cop is sitting down the street and catches that car on radar, my buddy accelerates to the speed limit, or less, goes approx 400 ft, and makes a right turn into a business. the cop pulls in behind him and proceeds to write him up for "60+ in a 35"

so he went to court with a bunch of magazine articles showing performance specs for a 2001 kia spectra, prooving that there is no possible way a car that goes 0-60 in MAYBE 10 seconds, could go 0-60-5mph in 400 ft....

the ticket got dropped

Memorial Day weekend me an my g/f were coming back from the fan day at Evernham Motorsports in Moorsville NC. I was merging on to 221 from 64 an the damn cop was sitting at the bottom of the ramp on the other side of the road faces the other way. As soon as I got onto 221 I slowed down but he still came after me an gave me a ticket 56 in a 35. I didnt even see a limit sign on the ramp. Oh well I got to go to court Monday so we'll see what happens.

What about that kid in LA that got 234MPH in a 65 zone. It was a hyabusa. He actually STOPPED. He was on the news and was like... "There is no way that I was going 234". Does it matter over 150. I cant believe that he stopped. I dont even think that the Police Air Unit could have hung with that. Then of course maintaining that in LA is pretty much impossible. HEHE

Got pulled over for squeling tires in my first car. The 1980 Ford Fairmont. I told the cop, with all do respect sir, let me show you something. I put the car in drive and nailed it. It sputtered and died. He laughed, siad sorry. It was a Chevy 454 SS Truck that was pulling out of the parking lot the same time as me. HEHEHAHAHA

Same here...I've had 5 Camaros. The first one when I was 16 and I am 34 now. Not one ticket.
