The day after buying my car, I got pulled over on the highway. The damb-*** cop gave me a ticket for going 70 on a 65.. YES 70 ON A 65. I went to court and they judge looked at the file and laughed. Yeah she laughed in front of the whole court room. She then asked me " Did a Police Officer really pull you over for doing 5 over the speed limit. I say yeah, in a "I never speed" voice. Then she just said," Sorry for wasting your time sir, this speeding violation will be droped". Now that was one cool judge. Wird thing is that the three times that i have been in court I have had the same judge, and she always drops the charges.

w0w... I remember that car.. it was my first car..
1989 Beretta GT.. 17 years old.. Pulled over doing 115 (That's as fast as the car would go before the guv'na kicked in.) in a 55 in Upstate New York.. COP pulls me over...
Asks me, do you know how fast you were going?
I'm like.... uh... umm... uh.. 77? He laughs and says oh no.. you were going a LOT faster than that! Wrote me a Warning (first time ticket and it was a warning) for 77...
My license at the time was I think about a month old..
Good thing he pulled me over.. I had no cash and I got home to Jersey with the gas light on.. I might of burned all my gas out if I kept going.
My most recent about 2 years ago..
85 in a 55.. I was just getting started too.. them I see the cop.. too late..
Couldn't get a courtesy this time.. Smelled my breath.. PU.. I got lucky.
Now.. I'm old.. 10-15 miles over is enough

60 in a 20 school zone and i was lucky that he cought me then cause i would have been in jail if i was caught doing what i was doing before that
Street racing in a school zone wouldn't have looked good on my record

90 in a 25 i had just dropped my new 383 in my 79 rally sport, i had been working on it with open headers and it turns out some of my neighbors complained to the cops who told them unless i was on the street there was nothing they could do. well i took it out with open exhaust and they were waiting to nab me! im lucky i didnt get arreseted, the ticket was $520 dollars including the no seat belt, no license in posession, and no registration in possesion.

I could probably take the cake on this if we're allowed to say things besides f-bodies, in 2001 I got tagged for 187 in a 25. How, you might ask?
I was rocketing along the interstate on my 2001 CBR 929, and took the exit, it's 2am and there's no traffic, all the lights ahead of me are green so, being a squid, I blew through the first 2 lights before I slowed down, I turned left at the 9th light, and stopped at that red light, a few seconds later a sherrif came sliding around the corner and slid up behind me, and yelled over his PA to "turn off the g d engine", so i did, he took put me in cuffs, took me back to the car, showed me the radar gun (he had been sitting under the bridge angled to get the best view down the street the way i went, sitting with the radar gun on, writing tickets, when I gave him a fly by without knowing he was there. After a good 20 minutes of lecturing and yelling, he let me go without so much as a written warning, his reasoning was if he ticketed me he'd have to take me to jail, and I wasn't really putting anyone in danger other than myself, cool *** cop if you ask me =]

I got nailed for doing 60 mph in 45 mph zone. That was only because I was trying to race a cop on a motorcycle. I didn't know it was a motorcycle cop because it was dark outside and my windows are tinted. Needless to say I didn't win that race.
