Lucky Me I haven't got a speeding ticket yet but did get a Wreckless driving ticket at 2am coming home from work in my McDonalds clothes. 2 squad cars pulled me over and seached the car and me for no reason and then tried to say that I was speeding because they had to go 150mph to catch me. I went to court and they cops didn't even fill out the proper info for the ticket and left the report basicly blank. So I got a deferment and the ticket reduced to unsafe driving is bad weather conditions.

143 in a 55 no ticket the cop who was GA State Trooper lived two blocks from my house. He stopped me the following day and told me had clocked me at that speed the night before but new he could not catch up to me so he did not try. Oh how did he know it was me you ask? I am from a very small south GA town and I was driving a 1969 Camaro convertable painted Dover White with Hugger Orange stripes. At that time there was not another Camaro painted that way in the entire county. Wasn't hard for him to figure it out!

I got three last year.

62 in a 40
55 in a 40
and 83 in a 70

There not much of anything, but I was seventeen at the time, and I had to work at the dump for the first two (16 hours, not too bad), pay court costs, and ticket. I got the last one in another county, so I paid the ticket and went to school to get it off my record . Insurace is still $180, with $60 reduction for grades.. It's always been that though and has never gone up..

Cool Never got a ticket but this was close

Never got a ticket for it, but I went 105 in a 50 in Bossier City- in my 1995 4 banger Isuzu pick-em-up truck. Came close, though, that time- only about a hlaf mile later, drove right by a cop that pulled someone over just down that same road - going 65 or so-lol. Last time I EVER sped.

87 in a 60, 85 in a 25, 63 in a 35, and my last 1 was 5 years ago it was 68 in a 55. While showing off to a friend years ago i pass a cop (going opisite directions) doing 160 in a 55. he put on the lights and slammed on the brakes but i guess changed his mind. Didn't matter I was about to turn at the next rode out of his site anyways.

79 in a 35...and I got out of it too. I did my homework and discovered that the cop was running an illegal speedtrap. He was using VASCAR and his timing lines were painted too close to a speed limit sign that indicated a decrease in speed. The section of the statutes (PA Title 75) that specifies parameters for speed timing devices says that, "Mechanical, electrical or electronic devices may not be used to time the rate of speed of vehicles within 500 feet after a speed limit sign indicating a decrease of speed." Obviously this was written to protect motorists from being snagged by cops when they're decelerating from, say, a 55 mph zone to a 35 mph zone. However, I was going from the 35 zone to the 55 zone when I got clocked doing 79. I contested that since the timing lines extended into both lanes of traffic, that enabled the officer to time vehicles within 500 feet of a speed limit sign indicating a decrease of speed. His presence and the placement of the timing lines made this speedtrap "illegal" since it wasn't being operated withing the parameters set forth in the statute. This argument worked and the judge threw out the speeding ticket. It pisses me off though because I still see the cop sitting there and pulling people over at the same spot. I'm tempted to get him to pull out after me just so I can say, "Hi, remember me?"
