Do what ever weight reduction you can and hope that he's a bad driver.

It'll be close. The Goat is still making more HP than your Z. I'm guessing it all depends on who gets the best start with a stick. Heck, run his *** anyway and tell us what happens!

 

Should be a good race drivers being equal I'd lean to the goat.

If you can really out drive him you can do it though. It's a pretty even match but on paper hes faster.

Since you are both M6... can you drive? Can he drive?

If only one of you can drive the other will win. If you can both drive, or if you both CAN'T drive, then my $$ is on you. The LS2 GTO'S can be driven faster than your car but 99% of the time they aren't, they are hard to launch. I saw a poor guy who just bought a brand new Yellow Jacket '05 M6 get stomped by nearly stock Hondas at the strip last summer. His car is capable of high 12's but he ran low 15's and high 14's 'cause he just didn't know how to drive it.
