Default Fuel Tank options for a 90 camaro?

Are there any plastic fuel tanks that will fit into a 1990 camaro?
Does anyone make a sending unit for these tanks without a fuel pump on it?

I can't say with any certainty, but I would think you could get a 4th gen tank to fit, but it would require some fabrication(mounting, filler neck). Like I said I don't know this as a fact, but the 3rd and 4th gen chasis are similar.

I bet someone has tried this, check over at www.thirdgen.org

If you find out post up, I've been curious about this myself as I'd like to build a 3rd gen with some things like this incorporated somewhere down the road...

EDIT: Bored, did a quick search. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/bo...astic+gas+tank

Go to post 14. Guy there has one in his car.

There's pic in the sticky at the top of this forum that shows a '99 tank vs. an '89 tank , yes it will fit .

No prob , use a TBI fuel pump , it will fit , and a pressure regulator , and you're cool.

Here's a place you can get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. http://www.turbocity.com/product_inf...roducts_id=437

You can also modify one that came on a 305.

EDIT: I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for since you're going carbed, just remembered that part being on my third gen...
