whats the general weight for a 98 ttop a4 camaro?

Jens Z28 when stock weighed 3360, it was a hardtop A4 with probably a 1/4 tank of gas. My 2001 Camaro SS weighed in at 3680 using a four corner scale and on a full tank of gas, it is a T-Top car.

the car was wieghed at a dyno day,

with a 200 lb driver it was in the ball park of 3600 lbs

i weighed mine at the scale I work at. it weighed 3400 lbs on the nose with 3/4 tank of fuel. it weighs about 3600 with a full tank of gas and driver.

mine was 3600lbs with 175lbs of me in it with a half tank of gas

Mine weighs 3297 w/out a driver...half tank of gas.

Only weight reduction I have done is removal off all emissions, spare and jack....and I think the headers are true duals will save a little bit of weight also.


All things being equal...does a t-top car weigh more? I dont see why it would?

Yes, due to the T-Tops being made from glass and the assocaited hardware needed to mount and secure the T-Tops.
