Question 2000 A4 Z28 question

I was thinking about trading in my 2000 grand prix gtp with 70k miles on it for a 2000 z28 with 88k..the dealership is asking 8450 for the camaro and i thought this price was kinda low...what kind of problems should i look for with this car and do you guys think it would be a good deal if i get an even trade or maybe throw in a few hundred dollars? any help would be great.

Look for the obvious : fluid leaks , etc. If the car has power windows, check 'em , they are notorious for going out. Listen for a noisy rear axle as if the car has seen any strip action with slicks or drag radials , it might be weak.I'd also look for any evidence of mods that have been removed , namely nitrous. That's all I can think at the moment.

There will be a plug or even the old nozzle on the air intake somewhere. Look for something that just doesn't look quite stock. They might have used a direct kit which you really couldn't tell .
