I'm 6'10"/300lbs and drive my 01 Z A4 about 300 miles/week comfortably. I recline the seat a little( not enough to look ) and adjust the column up a little. It's a T-top car, too. A buddy had a 97 TA w/tops and a M6 and it had a little less room for my left knee(different style door panels). I have "worn" a lot smaller vehicle though. Just tell your buddy that it's all in what you want and are willing to deal with.

I used to own a camaro and I noticed that they have more leg room than the TA's. How that is I dont know but when I bought my TA I noticed that it felt more cramped up.

I'm 6-6 and 285. It's a bit of a head banger to squeeze thru the door, but I'm very comfortable once inside. Then again, with the vert, I'm usually just stepping inside.
Seat adjusted all the way back, front up, back down and a pretty heavy recline. Thus, the turn signal indicators are pretty well hidden behind the airbag. I've driven this car with the turn signal stuck on more than all the other cars I've owned in my life.
Those long doors do get to be a problem when someone parks too close.

I am 6' 260lb and I fit in there nice but with a longer torso, my helmet hits the covers on the T-tops. I have the seat reclined more than what I like but I got used to it. I am always used to driving trucks and SUVs where I can put my fist above my head and still have some room inbetween it and the roof.

Greg Oden (ohio state bball player 7'1) fits into my car it's a squeeze but he fits. So i can only imagine 6'6 should fit ok. Also Andy Katzenmoyer has fit in my car just fine he is 6'5 270 now. But Andy never fit into my old T/A just the Z.

It gets kinda annoying when someone parks really close to your driver's side and you have to shift your whole body around while holding the door to get out.

6'6 235 here and although I can fit, I don't like driving with a permanent gangsta lean, especially at the track. I like sitting upright, and with the wheel tilted down, is barely possible in my 02.
A local shop is going to take the rails off another seat and mount them further back 4-6". I'll let ya know how it pans out.

Im 6'5 and 250lbs and I fit in my convertible fairly well.
Unit I cant believe you can fit in that Cobra. I tried driving a friends of mine and kept hitting my knees every time I shifted. Bad *** car though.

First of all, your only 6'2 so not really that tall. Second - as I mentioned earlier, I don't want to drive around laying down, hard to control launches at the track when you're horizontal.

i dont call it a gangsta lean its a recliner to me i could sit in it all day. My best friend is 6'6" and drives a second gen rx-7 for a dd and he says he is comfortable. That car is like 3 feet shorter than ours and still has a back seat.

I just had a local shop (J&T Auto, Huntington Long Island) relocate my seat back about 6 inches - will take pics tomorrow for all of you who wish you did have a little more leg room. Came out great, I can finally sit upright and keep the tilt low without hitting my knees!!!
