Difference between Z28 and SS Z28 LS1?

something that people forgot to mention is that the SS had SLP options available. you could find an "SLP optioned" SS where if you had a Z28 youd have to buy and install those options.

i think those options were mainly suspension options and the lid.

But the SLP options didnt add any power to speak off..........

Lets assume you mean just for an 02, here is the total list of SLP options that were available. This doesn't mean that a car has all or any of them.

Chrome 10 spoke wheels
Chrome ZR1 wheels
BFG G Force tires
1LE suspension
Bilstein Ultra Performance suspension
Auburn differential with aluminum cover
Car cover
Front floor mats
Deck mat
Grille
Dual/Dual exhaust
CME exhaust
345 HP lid, which could only be ordered with one of the above catbacks
SS key Fobs and dash plaque

2.73 gears were not available on the SS; all autos have 3.23 gears.
