Difference between Z28 and SS Z28 LS1?

In what ways? That's why I asked. I am trying to figure out if it is worth the hassle of trying to find an SS if the Z28 is just as good. I am not so much concerned with cosmetics as I am the performance. I think the SS looks good, but I think they would be a bit harder to come by.

C'monnnnnn.....everyone know's the SS's are faster.
But seriously, options depended on year, and I don't even really know which years got what. Generally, SS's got a better hood with "functional" air induction, a good looking spoiler, badges, bigger wheels, and a little suspension tweaking. No real world performance difference between the Z28 and SS.

that funincal hood may be offered but not best for set up. but they also offered a power steering cooler to add to the list.
but all and all dont think a SS will be faster then a Z... not dissing SS's, would love to have one but there the same all day
