Will 4th gen seats bolt into a 2nd gen camaro?
I have my seats from a 98z and my girl has a 80 camaro Z and without having to take the seats out anyone know if they will bolt up?

It all depends on how the seat belts are on the 80. We have a 72 firebird and a 98 TA but the 72 is all manual seat belts (non retractable) and is bolted down in three places in the front and 2 in the back. I'm sure that you can make it work by pluging one hole and the holes should be close to the same size. I am pretty sure that you will have to take the seats out. The only way you wouldn't have to take anything out is if the retractable thing is visible on the 80. Just look around cause seats aren't hard to remove. Front seats only consist of 2 bolts and rear is normally either none or 2.

The front seats in the 98 should be 4 bolts, two front, two rear... and they're 13mm if I remember correctly. The back seat has a single bolt in the front and underneath each "bucket" to remove the seats, and the backrest has two bolts at the bottom corners to pull it out.
