So I wouldn't be afraid to show off the third gen either...

Yeah, I'll probably just keep it hanging around and do something with it in about 5 years or so....
By then maybe it will be something other than a Mullet Mobile. Maybe people will appreciate them like we all do the 67-69 camaro's....

If I do anything else to that car, It's gonna be fuel injected and I'd like to go to a 6 speed with it.... But who knows.

BTW Thanks for the compliment.... I put lots of work in it!

Sounds good, I'd like some tips on what all was a PITA and what was involved with switching over to an LSX based engine....

any time man... i lurk around the SS with nate alot, and was there on saturday night at oriellys and then the other spot before you guys got run off... I just keep a low profile

Well to update the thread, I'm pretty Pissed off!
I put the 3.42's in last monday and had the car tuned for the gear swap. Well to my surprise; while I was getting the car tuned, the oil pump decided to take a **** on me and spun a rod bearing. So now my engine is going to need to be overhauled....

BUT the good thing is, I now have a reason to pull it apart and do what I was going to do this winter anyways! I guess it worked out after-all! Just happened a little bit sooner than I wanted it to. I'll be doing a rebuilt ls1 bottom end. And a heads and cam package from TSP! Along with a Vigilante Stall! And an Induction system (Probably a Fast 92/92 or ??)
Wish me Luck and I'll have the car up and running by next summer for sure. But it will be WAAAY Faster...

And to be honest, this was my first LS1 swap and I just pretty much breezed it.
