85 Cutlass w/LS1. Turbo Question
Im putting a LS1 in my 85 Cutlass. I want to use a T70 Turbo and mount it under the hood, so could I do this with the carb kit? And what do I need to get?

I'll be doing the exact same in my '88 MCSS. Im going to be fabing the turbo kit from truck manifolds as many have done before. And yes! blow through works great with turbos!

If you do not run a crazy amount of boost, it is an everyday driver. It all depends what you have done to the motor, if it is forged, good all day. I would put an intercooler on it, you have an 85 cutlass, enough room to put one in the front of the radiator...my brother has a 83 hurst olds with the puke *** 307, runs 14.5 with everything modded.

yes it will,, cam...
i would personally just run the stock 5.3, ive ran 15 psi on it fine. i beat the crap out it. and its fast..
just start with the stock 5.3 and work with that,, 15 psi should equel to about 650 h.p.. estimating.. but deff get a cam, im running ls6 cam,,, im going to run that at the track, then put in the stock 5.3 cam and run it at the track,, see which is better..

When it was turbo it was a 3" that ran down the pass side near the trans tunnel. Also no that kit wont work. The header will hit the steering box and the hot pipes will hit pretty much everything else.

Lots of info here. If you are serious about this you'll need to do alot of research. There are quite a few ls builds there too. Including a more detailed one of mine. Search big red to find it.
