How much did you estimate it would cost to finish?

I would be willing to front the conversion costs if its not too much, so that teh project can get completed, then we can arrange a sale of the completed car or something??

If any one is looking into titling the car, look into "kit car" because it trully is kit car now with a different front clip and engine.

worst way to title a car. You would end up paying taxes on a 2010 model scale instead of the vehicles actual year model.

Can you send me more detailed pictures on the inside and outside of the car please, so I can show my brother (business partner) them. sabastian458@yahoo.com

Yea but its basically the only way to legally register a skyline in the US. they arent legal here. The hoops you have to jump through and money you have to spend to get a complete car legally titled in the U.S. unbelievable.

If this car already had a legal title I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Good luck with the sale

Howdy,
The buyer that was lined up backed out (flaked out, lied, however it went). But i decided to keep it.

This weekend i'm cutting up the subframe, making motor mounts, and watching football

ok, update time.

Motor is in, mounts are made, etc. Fitting took some time but it came out nicely. Right now i plan on keeping A/C, etc.

GTO oil pan with a few mods, this is a junk pan i used for test fitting. Similiar to a 240sx pan mod, but with a little more clearance.

Shifter position came out great, no need to off-set the shifter, etc.

The sticking point was the RHD steering getting in the way of the starter. A mini-starter in conjunction with moving the rack about 1/2 in to the right leaves clearance. I was originally going the have the motor down and back a little more, but i needed to move the motor up to help clear the steering. Good thing there is room in the engine bay.

cut steering rack mount welds -

Moved the mounting pad a little. After welding and paint it will look stock.

Steering rotated to the closest fit position, there is more room than it appears in the photos -

link to more photos - new photos on page 8 - 10

Evans Family Photo Album - Sky

Next up is turbo research, single or twins, etc. Need to order some so i can make the pipeing , etc.

Dude, this is amazing.
I'm seriously happy and excited to see this build.
No joke, I LOVE these cars.

I would do a single, beefy, meety som-bitch in that thing.

Once again, very excited to watch the progress man.
Good luck, I'll be checking in.

After owning a LS1 car and driving mutiple Skylines, I would love to do something like this. I love the combo of both, I would rank this as my second favorite behind a LS1 FD rx7
