Benjamin Moore industrial epoxy, it's one of their floor coatings. Did it myself and have been very happy with it.

I remember watching the Skyline smash into the concrete barrier in Houston that year. Damn it was hot.

M36 High Gloss epoxy

write up i did - http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...light=z28evans

I'd check the garage journal site and see what they recommend, lots of info on there.

It was hot, i wish they hadn't scheduled the Houston event in the hottest part of the year.

I have a Silvia S13 that im putting an ls1 in, im currently building the motor everything will be ready to hit the late summer drift events... sold the stock sr out of it and picked up a block... gonna be fun... Looks like half of the drifters are going this rought, all current projects i've seen in ATL are getting LS motors... the best of 2 world for me...

Skyline is sold (wasn't going to have the time or money to finish it for a while), drove through some crazy weather delivering it to Utah. Some severe weather in the panhandle - after driving through some serious rain, saw white stuff on the road - pulled over to check it out, was hail. We just missed out driving through a pretty good hail storm (and we saw tornado chasers on the road).

Then we drove through a snow storm south of denver (had it in 4wd), they shut the freeway down not longer after we made it through. Saw a lot of car wrecks. Almost got hit by an SUV that spun while passing us. Had more snow in Wyoming.

My dad came with me, it was somewhat fun - but it was just haul out there and back in a hurry.

Skyline and parts -

I have seen your cars on ziptied, nice builds man, keep up the good work. I'm doing an LSX+t56 swap into a 86 300zx. Always good to seen none traditional swaps into Jap cars!

Damn James, sucks you had to sell it as it was just starting to look good. I'm in the process of building a turbo LQ4 in my 240sx. I'm not sure if you remember me from TAMSCC several years back. I was friends with Derrick and Keith Lempa. How is CS doing these days? Haven't been there in a while.

The new owner is putting an RB (Skylien drivetrain) back into it. I saved the motor mounts, if i ever find a big bag of money maybe i'll build another one.

Avery - i'm bad with names, but probably remember you.

I'm going to stick with my ls1 IROC for now.

Default Skyline fun

I got a ride in one about 12-14 years ago with one that was pushing about 500-600Hp. It was here in California from Tokyo as a test mule for Tiltons new street clutch that they wanted to sell 500 sets of. Full interior, super nice car that would launch so hard that it was hard to hold my feet on the floor! Very, very impressive car. I have wanted one since then - to bad the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
Now I want one again!!

I still wish I had mine. I've kept the motor and trans mounts. I have someone (in Sweden) who wants them, but I'm not sure I want to let them go.
