I really like the fuel rails you made! Would you be willing to make another set for a fee of course? DO they use truck injectors still?

I agree, they look great.

You all did a better job than mine, I was afraid to get that deep into it somebody said that fiberglass and the usual fillers would not stick to the intake very good or not at all.
What all did you use to cover or plug your holes on the intake cause it sure looks good.
They all do.

Thanks for liking the rails i made. Too be honest, they were way harder to make then i thought they would be. Took a lot of time but enjoyed the challenge. They do except the stock truck injector. I think your best bet is to get some rails off ebay or a performance parts store because i wouldn't even know how much to ask for a set of these rails. As for the intake itself, i cut pieces out of another intake and i used a 2 part epoxy to hold them together. I sanded off the high spots and re epoxied to fill most of the small gaps then only needed to use a small amount of bondo to smooth it out.

Thats the problem, no one makes any for the truck intakes that i know of. A custom set would more than likely offset the cost of running the free truck intake

I used a set of car fuel rails but had to modify the brackets just a little to fit the 80# injectors to fit the TBSS intake.

You can buy rails like that. Hell..you can use almost any rails just need to fab up some different mounting brackets.

Where did you get the spacing and angles for the injectors? Is the interface with the injector just a round hole or does it have some kind of boss?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I used the factory fuel rails too measure the spacing. The spacing was 112mm and i went with a compound angle of 13 degrees so the rails would sit square and parallel with the intake. Hope the pictures show the rails well enough.

Here is one I did, notice how I took the cut line down to the bottom of the horns. I spent a lot of time on the inside but nothing radical. I removed all the posts ,contoured all the runners and removed all casting flash. Took the log opening from 74 mm to 78 mm.

Thanks for the pics. I have a spare one I've been thinking about doing for my 2500hd. What kind of glue you plan on using to put the top back on?
