And many people move the coils to the back of the head or somewhere on the firewall. I assume extra length is not an issue assuming you have good wires.

That primer looks white on my screen. Do black it out , it will look mean. Not a problem to relocate the coils ,I have them under my cowl.

They flow great, they are right with a LS6 through the whole range .The LS6 only slightly better in the upper range but only by 2 hp . Once I opened mine up I spend a lot of time porting , removed all posts , casting flash, contoured ports and runners and increased the log from 74 mm to 78 mm all the way to to roof opening. I would expect mine to out perform a LS6 after porting.

How do you put a negative charge on a plastic intake to powder coat it?

I preheat the item and then spray on from a distance it tends to stick while its hot . it's not easy to stay even especially with candies but it can be done

I powder coated these intakes but you have to preheat to 400 then bake at 350degrees for 40 minutes.

I have been working on smoothing my intake this morning and have found out that the scotch brite red and brown pads work pretty damn good for smoothing. The brown one takes a little off as needed and the red one smooths it almost to as smooth as the original casting is. Of course this on the end of a die grinder. Oh and the best part they are not caking up.

Where do you get the plastic filler from?

I posted this earlier in this thread, one source, is the all the material that you remove can be used for plugs . As for filler rod or sheet many companies sell it like Urethansupply.com . The material is Nylon 66. it depends on the welder used but I use black cable ties they are Nylon 66 and it cheaper than filler rod.

So its not like an epoxy filler that you mix and spread on and then sand smooth. Something like bondo?
