Default 5.3 with old 5 speed

Hi ,i need informations,i have 98 silverado 2wd with tierd 4.3 and 5 speeds transmission.i want to install 5.3 in it and keep my original transmission, what kind of flayweel setup i need to install in it?Tank's

Given that particular year used an internal slave cylinder much like the F body did, I would bet a LS1 style flywheel/clutch setup will bolt right up and work fine. You might need to shim the slave though.

tank's for your reply,but the LS motor is .400 shorter then old sbc?

I used the Sachs 1050 flywheel for an 06 Silverado to mate my TKO to my 5.3.

Depends on the bell housing. Does it currently have a 168 tooth flywheel?
