Default Fuel Vent for Vaporworx tank, what are you using?

Looking for a fuel vent solution asap for my Vaporworx tank in my 69 Camaro. Car is going to be mainly street driven. Rick's Hot Rod recommended this >>>> http://www.fuelsafe.com/store/tpv6-i...ent-valve.html . Has anyone used it? Would you recommend it, or does anyone have another suggestion? Thanks in advance.

I used a piece of fuel hose and a small spectre breather filter on the end, worked for over 8K miles so far, using same thing on my wagon build. That looks like an inline check valve, and not what you need for a tank vent IMO....

I know when you use the TanksINC setup. they have this listed..
http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/pa...d=97/prd97.htm

That is one recommended is like almost $100 by the time you add shipping and all. It is listed as a device that can be used inline with a bulkhead fitting on the top of the sender to allow the pressure to vent out and allow air to be sucked in as the fuel is used up. Should work but would still need something to handle the gas fumes as they are being purged out.

I like that fuel safe valve. -it's not a check valve perse-
Little expensive for what it is though.
Should work well.

You need a roll over vent valve minimum. -float check valve-

I used a loop of fuel line with a cheap plastic fuel filter. But it lets the smell out in the garage.

Look up a fuel tank vent valve for a 1997 Camaro V8. Will release pressure build up and allows air in. Made from plastic and costs about $15. Not pretty, but simple and cheap. I think it is only available from GM #10245442

Looks promising. Of course, the local GM dealer wants $25 for it and they don't have it in stock...ggggrrhhhh. I have been searching for dimensions or a pic this valve with no luck....Does anyone have any insight on this part?

Thanks! Why I didn't search ls1tech is beyond me, but then that is how my whole day has been.
