Lq9 in tj?
What all will I need and what headaches have y'all had doing it? I have an 01 tj with 4" lift that I am wanting to put my lq9 in. What oil pan did y'all run and what front accessories? Do y'all have ac? Thanks

No head aches other than possible speeding tickets!
98 Wrangler. LS6/4l60e. 8.8 exploprer rearend. 241R transfer case.
Camaro accessories. Camaro pan. Truck stuff would work. My first TJ swap was a 4.8 with truck accessories and pan. Close to the hood on the intake.
No AC. My 98 was a true stripper. 4 cylinder no ac. Today the best solution is a high mount compresssor up on the passenger side head.
4 years on the swap with zero problems.

Well I'm wanting to keep ac and advance adapters said its best with truck stuff so I traded my camaro stuff for a set off of a 2007 escalade 6.0. Hoping my eddelbrock rails and injectors will work ok. Seem like they fit ok. Got any picks showing clearances after install? Do you think fbody headers will fit?
Btw I like the fact the truck stuff puts the alt up high

Don't know how similar a Yj is to a TJ but on my swap I used 1998 camaro manifolds cut the 3 bolt flanges off and extended them with 2 1/2" tubing to get a easily accessible bottom outlet.
No clearance problems around the steering shaft or frame. The Power steering pump is close and I had to buy a $50 csr straight out water neck for the water pump to be able to make a lower radiator hose. I carbed mine but the bolt in would be the same.
