Just figured out how to post pics,so I'm gonna start my build thread..slowly but surely it'll get done...so here goes a few pics

Lq4 that's going in consists of
Lq4 bored 0.30 10.8:1
Prc stage 2.5 heads
Comp cams truinin kit
Comp custom ground cam
235/243 @112 lsa
Vic jr intake
quick fuel 750cfm carb
dynatech swap headers
flaming river manuel quick ratio rack kit
Aje tubular k-member,lower control arms, coil overs and mounts
Aje trans crossmember
wilson transmission (local guy) built th400 with trans brake
circle d 4000 converter
msd 6010

Couple pics of the car

Motor was originally in the truck, but to many tranny problems..so it has a stock 5.3 back in it

Pretty much was a bone stock 5.0 5spd car 160k miles

Time to start pulling!

Here what's going in!

Snatched the msd wires off the truck, for the stock ones

Th400 got a killer deal off Craigslist..
Saving money have built..plans are Manuel valve body with reverse shift pattern w/trans brake..trans go shift kit

Gonna clean the wire mess up..get rid of everything I don't need, and run the headlight harness through the fender well..Also thinking about just running a switch board to get rid of all the wiring, besides the headlights..

Some pics of the ls1 pulley set up
Do you think the belt will hit the upper alternator bolt when it's running???
