Thanks for the compliment! My buddy actually taked me into building something after I decided to quit racing motorcycles. Went down pretty hard the last time and want to be around to see my little girl grow up so heres my new hobby. My goal is to be street legal ( will have some tread on tires for street lol) but have a turn key engine that is also safe and dependable. You can see my friend lownfast's 71 chevelle thread by searching "lownfast" on ls1 tech. He'll be helping me with the cam, intake, stand alone harness etc.

Really hoping to be able to get some people together for some cruises and road trips as a group when this thing is done so stay tuned!

There are aftermarket Tubular control arms for the s10's and they will help lay you out better if your wanting to go lower. ( thorebecke brothers now qualityairride, and MMW michigan metal works as well)

I was gonna do tubular uppers and dehump the LCA's but since I'm fabbing the Frame and have enough clearance in the engine compartment for the hood to clear the ls I decided to just save the time and money. I'm ok with look and besides its a rat rod and I'm wanting to keep it as inexpensive as possible. Thanks for the advice though.
