I was lucky enough to find a guy selling a f-body oil pan for $100 with oil pickup. I have already ordered the dipstick, tube and windage tray. I already have a new o-ring.

The guy in brown just came bearing gifts. My new Griffin Radiator 70008-ls dominator series. It looks like a really nice piece. It was the best priced radiator I saw for my setup.

I've been meaning to post a picture of these. Dirty Dingo Slider Adapter plates. Looks like a solid piece. I have the F-Body oil pan but because of the thickness of these I think I may look for a CTS-V oil pan now.

What should I use for my fuel lines and fittings? I know this probably a silly question but I want to make sure I'm making the right decision. I've read over others build but no one really touches on what they use for fuel lines. I'm on a strict budget but would rather use the best fuel lines then to have to change cheap ones over and over again.

I used all An lines and fittings and have had great success. Also used the corvette filter regulator combo which works great.

I don't think that F body pan is ideal for our cars - https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...body-swap.html

For now I will try to use the F-Body pan first if I do not like the fit I will buy a CTS-V pan later. I'm hoping with these adapter plates that I will be able to adjust the engine.

summit racing sells a ls swap fuel line kit with external fuel pump, stock corvette fuel pressure regulator, 20 ft of braided stainless hose, an assortment of Russel AN fittings, and the quick disconnect adapter for the fuel rail, along with wiring harness with relay for fuel pump, wire loom, and wire ties. the kit is almost $500 bucks if i remember correctly but its got everything you need. when you break it down its not that far off on price considering the fuel pump it comes with is over $200, the fuel line is around $90 for the roll, and all those fittings arent cheap! i know for a fact i could piece the fuel lines and fuel system together for much cheaper now, but at the time not knowing what fittings went with what lines and fuel pump pressures and regulators, just taking a hit and buying the kit with evertything i knew would work just seemed like the better idea.

You could also pull the fuel line from a caddy for $8, buy the filter for $35, the pump for $150 or whatever and a couple extra fittings for $2 each from dorman. A more budget friendly approach, one I wish I had known about earlier.

After discussing fuel options with friends and reading countless threads I think I will wait until Retrofuel has a fuel tank. I like what they have planned. It seems to be the best option for the money. To me it seems similar to the Ricks Vaporworx tank but in a stock tank.

I was able to pick up a complete 05' truck accessory drive minus the ac compressor and bracket from a seller off of Craigslist.

I've noticed many have used the Kwik Accessory kit but I personally don't like the look of it. I just got off the phone with someone from Dirty Dingo Motorsports who recommended their high p/s kit to avoid the gear box but it requires a 90-95 p/s pump to work. I'm just comparing all possible options, so what are you guys using for your accessory drives?

Still in the gather process of this build. After discussing with many others about my options with the 6.0. I've decided to go with the LS3 top end. Hopefully this can help me reach my goals of 450+hp...

I've picked up a few things over the past 3 weeks.

Soon I plan to start breaking down the engine and finish this build.

Does any one have a set of LS3 valve covers and a complete coil set they would be willing to sale me??? Thanks

Nice build! I'm going to try making the f-body pan work on my 1970 GTO build with the Eddelbrock swap kit. I just buttoned up my head/cam/intake swap on the LS1, so next will be pulling the 400 and start test fitting. I'll be keeping an eye on your build.

Oh, and the LS3 top end is definitely the way to go on a 6.0... I'm a little envious since that isn't an option for me.

Still gathering parts. Slowly making some progress. Hopefully would like to get started put some of these parts together.

Found a great deal on Alper Motorsport TB w/IAC and TPS

Opted to go with the new Tanks Inc. fuel injected tank. Nice baffle inside and pretty straight forward. Hopefully I will have no complaints in the future.

Was able to grab a LS3 starter from a member here on the forums classifieds.

Spoke with a friend of mine who suggested I get this throttle cable bracket. It is the only affordable one for the LS3/L76 intakes.

Spent my entire evening replacing the stock valve springs with the new PAC 1219x valve springs I picked up.

Also received my new valve covers today. Found these off of Craigslist seller had lost interest in build and no longer need these. Basically gave them to me.
Now I just need to locate the filler cap.

I did the Tanks Inc setup on my 69 Camaro- nice setup. The only advice I can offer is to make sure you have the hose clamps, wires, and even the zip ties tucked in tight- the pump barely goes thru the hole in the tank, and anything sticking out is a problem.
