A few questions for you after looking a little closer. Which Holley brackets did you buy for the A/C compressor, PN: 20-141 with an aftermarket Sanden compressor? Or did you reuse the stock A/C compressor? Did you rework your own wiring harness or send it off? What had to be done to tie in the paddle shifters to the tranny wiring harness? Speartech did my wiring harness and had them add the tap shift box that they offer. The plan is to eventually do paddle shifters, Speartech hadn't worked with any of the paddle manufacturers to make thier systems work together as of a year or so ago... Thanks for the help!

I had Speartech build my harness AND I sent them my Shriftersix paddle setup to verify everything works. The Shriftersix harnes just plugs into the Speartech harness. You should be good to go when you get ready to get the paddle shifters.
Thanks! Here's some pictures of my son's 68. It's got a 2002 LS1/4L60 out of a Camaro Z28.

nice truck and conversion! real curious about the rear end design. Do you have any more pictures? Is it a 3-link? Are there pictures of your son's somewhere?
I've got a '51 Ford pickup with an L92 and 6L80. The leaf spring (one) doesn't cut it It rides like cr@p and doesn't hook up at all.
And I'm in the process of planning the rear suspension re-design.
Thank you,
Doug

You probably should go with a 4 bar setup. I would call Nate Porter at PBFAB, if he doesn't have what you need, he will build it. http://www.pbfab.com/
